Hey, guys. My name is Shane and I am 20 years old. I am also going to college for art currently, but am going to transfer into an animation program as soon as I build my portfolio enough. I am an amateur powerlifting competitor. I have one meet under my belt and am training for my next one that will be on Nov. 9th. This is my page for posting progress information and workouts as well as other things that catch my interest.
You can say whatever you’d like about competitive strength sports and how the people who compete in them are assholes, but if you actually participated or attended the events then you would know how supportive that each and everyone is towards each other. Sure, we want to beat out the other guys, but do we sit around trying to sabotage everyone else? No. We push them just as hard as we push ourselves to be their best and I’ve not seen that anywhere before I started competing myself. I think it’s a beautiful thing.
When people complain about others being not natty and looking better or being stronger than them.
Then buy some steroids and put your money where your mouth is.
Please, shut up.
You don’t get the body of a god doing everything halfway
I’m not saying you have to almost die every training session, but damn. Take a little pain, suck it up.
Your body is a physical manifestation of what’s inflicted upon it; to have a body that looks like it’s been through hell and back you have to put it through that.
