Hey, guys. My name is Shane and I am 21 years old. I am also going to college for Illustration currently, and am working on my Personal Trainer Certification. I am an amateur powerlifting competitor. I have three meets under my belt and am training for my next one that will be in November. No Champion ever started a champion. A lot of people these days are in a pursuit of short term greatness that will be everlasting, but to be perfectly clear, NO ONE made it to the top overnight. You’ll never peak in your sport, or profession in a day, a week, a month, a year. Hell, even in 5 years you might not get there. Professionals at anything perfect their craft over many years of trial and error. Practicing yields results. Never get down about your progress, no matter how small. If you keep up your commitment, then you’ll make it to the big times if you stick with it and put yourself forward even in times of severe opposition and setbacks. Set your goals and commit to them. Never quit.
To be a world record holder and no one knows your name. This seems to be the burden of a powerlifter
really just can’t get accustomed to the taste and aftertaste of quest bars. which sucks because they have so much protein and i need protein… see my dilemma?
